Language is an important key for our social live. It allow us to communicate and share our experiences to other people that are different from us. Language permits us to learn many things in our community, culture and society in the world. For example, if you come new country and don't know the language, you might not be able to find a job. You might not be able to communicate other people.
Another example is the immigrant to the United Stated to become a citizen they must show a basic knowledge of U.S. history and government, applicants for citizenship are required to demonstrate an ability to write, read, and speak English. I think to become the part of the this country the immigrants who would like to come to U.S. should learn to speak the language no matter how long they plan to stay.
